After Yehuda’s keynote Tuesday night at RailsConf the Ruby Hero awards were presented by Gregg Pollack and Nathaniel Bibler from Envy Labs.
The Ruby Hero awards was created in 2008 to highlight people in the Ruby community who have passionately helped make better the tools in Ruby we enjoy everyday.
This year’s winners were:
Gregg’s post with his video can be found on the Envy Labs Blog. He continues on with an important challenge that I didn’t include, which tied into Yehuda’s keynote about setting “impossible” goals for yourself. That what might seem “impossible” today, might be very possible tomorrow if you work hard and keep trying.
