Every two years NAED members were required to take a re-certification test.
A back end administration app allowed the NAED staff to input hundreds of different multiple choice questions grouped by the disciplines offered (Medical, Fire and Police).
The front end of the app allowed current Emergency Dispatch members to take a test which would randomize the questions from the pool entered in the backend. And then it would grade them instantly and give them a result at the end of the exam.
If they user passed, it would record their test result and allow them to print out a form they could mail into the NAED to verify their test and receive further "patches" signifying their years of certification.
